COVID-19
SFMUN 2025 will be an in-person conference.
All delegates must be fully vaccinated. All delegates must adhere to all CDC guidelines here, paying special attention to at-risk groups.
Awards
SFMUN is a unique opportunity for delegates to deepen their understanding of international relations while honing critical skills such as collaboration, public speaking, teamwork, and diplomacy. To recognize exceptional performance in these areas, awards will be presented at the closing ceremony by the chairs of each committee.
Delegates who submit position papers are eligible for all major awards, including Honorable Mention, Outstanding Delegate, Best Delegate, and Best Research. While submitting a position paper is not mandatory for participation, it is strongly encouraged, as it significantly enhances a delegate's preparation and chances of winning an award.
We highly encourage all delegates to submit a position paper to ensure they are well-prepared and positioned for success at SFMUN!

All sponsors and signatories will be penalized regardless of involvement, do not jeopardize the SFMUN experience for other delegates.
