CAL KINOSHITA
Secretary-General
Cal is a Senior at Lowell High School and has been in MUN for four years. He is passionate about public policy. He turns his passion into action by serving as a student board member on the San Francisco Board of Education, representing approximately 50,000 students. In his free time, he enjoys doing nail art, listening to Faye Webster and Beach House, and writing letters to his friends.
SOFIA BRUNO
Director-General
Sofia is a junior at Lowell High School and will be going on her third year of MUN. Her passions include racial justice, public speaking, and politics. Apart from MUN, she enjoys practicing violin, filming/editing videos, and going on adventures around SF.
CATRIN JASSYNBAYEV
Treasurer
Catrin is a senior at Lowell High School. She has been involved in MUN since 8th grade and is very interested in International politics and affairs. Catrin is currently the Vice President of Service and Fundraising at Lowell Key Club. She knows 3 languages including Russian and Spanish. For over 14 years, she has been a Ballroom Dancer and is currently a member of Lowell Dance Company. She is a team player and is excited to meet new people.
JACKY LOC
Under-Secretary-General of Outreach
Jacky is a junior at Lowell High School and has been a part of his Model UN club for three years. He is deeply interested in political science and current events. Aside from Model UN, Jacky serves as the Junior Class President at Lowell, a member on the SFMTA Youth Transportation Advisory Board, and the Executive Director of Youth for San Francisco. In his free time, he enjoys playing volleyball and binge-watching sit-coms and TV dramas.

Adrianna Zhang
Secretary-General
Adrianna is a senior at Lowell High School and has been doing MUN for 3 years. . She is passionate about youth civic advocacy, children’s rights, and education equity especially in San Francisco. Adrianna serves as the District 7 representative on the San Francisco Youth Commission and is the founder of SF CHANGE. In her free time, she loves listening to podcasts and meeting new people.

Cal is a junior at Lowell High School who is going on his third year in Model UN. He has a deep passion for international relations, law, and politics. Outside of MUN, Cal enjoys meeting new people, listening to Sza and Lana Del Rey, reading, and writing letters to friends and families. He is incredibly excited to meet this year’s delegates and hopes that this will be the best SFMUN yet!
RHEA IYER
Under-Secretary-General of Outreach
Rhea is a senior at Lowell High School and has been a part of her Model UN club for three years. She has a deep-rooted passion for international relations and particularly is interested in social and humanitarian subjects such as the refugee and climate change crises. Aside from her involvement in Model UN, she serves as the Interim President to the San Francisco Student Advisory Council and is the founder of the Democratic Youth Coalition. In her free time, she enjoys watching Tik Toks and baking.

Catrin is a junior at Lowell High School. She has been involved in MUN since 8th grade and is very interested in International politics and affairs. She is currently the Executive Director of Broadcast Media at the nonprofit Diversify Our Narrative and the founder of SFUSD’s chapter. Apart from MUN, she enjoys practicing violin, filming/editing videos, and hanging out with friends.

Michelle Song
Secretary-General
Michelle is a senior at Lowell High School. This is her fourth year in MUN and third year on the SFMUN board overall. She has a deep passion for international relations and her community; she is the Executive Director of Masks For All CA, the Director of Youth and Young Adult Services for the District 1 Office of the SF Board of Supervisors, and was the Youth Representative for UNA-SF’s UN Charter Day. She is intellectually curious and strives to improve everyday.
Zoe Simotas
Director-General
Zoe is currently a senior at Lowell High School where she has been participating in MUN for three years. Within MUN, Zoe’s favorite committee is the US Senate, and her favorite conference (aside from SFMUN) is SMUNC. Zoe loves hanging out with friends and family, and going on hikes with her dog, Burt. She is passionate about social justice and politics, and is currently an intern at the San Francisco Office of Cannabis.
Jessi yu
Under-Secretary-General of Outreach
Jessi is a senior at Lowell. She has been involved with MUN for two years and hopes to one day pursue a career In International Politics. She knows six languages including three dialects of Chinese and is currently learning Russian. She knows every lyric to Nicki Minaj’s hit song “Super Bass” and her quarantine activities include playing Solitaire and creating Spotify playlists. She’s really excited to meet you all and can’t wait to discuss your favorite Avatar characters.

Adrianna is a junior at Lowell high school and has been doing MUN for 2 years. As the treasurer of Lowell MUN and SFMUN 2020, she is eager to expand her knowledge in international affairs. She finds interest in topics involving education and women's rights. Adrianna serves as the District 7 representative on the San Francisco Youth Commission and loves meeting new people, figure skating, cooking for her family, and doing TikTok dances with Rhea.
Rhea Iyer

Rhea is a junior at Lowell High School and has been a part of her Model UN club for three years. She has a deep-rooted passion for international relations and politics. She particularly enjoys committees involving social and humanitarian subjects such as the refugee and climate change crises. Aside from MUN, she enjoys working in education policy.
hannah wissotzky
Under-Secretary-General of External Relations
Hannah is a sophomore at Lowell High School. She joined Model UN as an extracurricular but instead found a tight knit community that taught and supported her. She has been (foil) fencing for 4 years at Halberstadt Fencers Club and is on the LHS Fencing team. She’s an avid reader and grew up between the pages of a book... a gift she wouldn't trade for the world. She hates scary movies, lukewarm coffee, mornings, and oat milk ice cream.
